Multigenre Artifact 1

I did a Facebook on Jomo Kenyatta because I felt it would be the best way to get facts across. Jomo Kenyatta was a great political leader during the time of the Mau Mau. I also liked doing this because I myself have a Facebook. I use it quite frequently to talk to my peers and classmates. My experience greatly helped me do this Multigenre Artifact. If Jomo Kenyatta had Facebook during his time, I bet the Mau Mau would have diffused throughout all of Africa.

Multigenre Artifact 2

I did an original piece of work from a scene in my book, Burn My Heart. The two boys were wondering by a nearby river. Matthew had his gun his had given him. He saw an Impala down by the river bank. When he fired his rifle the next thing the boys new, an angry elephant stampeded towards them. They hurriedly scampered up a tree. This is the most visual scene in the book, in my opinion. This scene also taught me a lot about both main characters. It showed me that Mugo is fearless and not easily intimidated. It showed me that Matthew crumbles under pressure and is all talk and no show.

Multigenre Artifact 3

I did a wanted poster on a suspected Mau Mau member because the Mau Mau had the biggest influence on Kenya. They pretty much started chaos throughout the once peaceful country of Kenya. Their main goal was to remove British Rule from their homeland. The British came in and began to colonize Kenya. They did this without approval from the natives. This made a lot of people join the Mau Mau because they were so passionate about their home country. A lot of people became wanted after these events began to occur.
